About Billingsmoor Farm

Billingsmoor Farm is a 340-acre organic dairy farm situated in Mid Devon otherwise known as the Heartland of Devon. We milk 160 British Friesian cows. Our farm is run on an organic system and is registered with the Organic Farmers & Growers. All of our milk is supplied to Dairy Crest who bottles it and sells it as Country life Organic Milk.

We also have calves, pigs, geese ducks and chickens on the farm.

Our farm attracts an abundance of wildlife and with our woodland we are very popular with the local bird life, who make there nests in the woods.

Part of the Dutchy Estate

Billingsmoor farm in Butterleigh is a traditional organic dairy farm and is part of the Bradninch estate, which forms part of the Prince of Wales Duchy of Cornwall estate. The Duchy of Cornwall and Prince Charles are well known for supporting both farming and the conservation of the countryside. Edward III created the Duchy estate in 1337 for his son and heir, Prince Edward, and its primary function was to provide him and the future Princess of Wales with an income from its assets.
