1950s French Army M-47 All-in-One First Model

An all-in-one worn by French army tank units from around 1947 to the early 1950s.

When you hear "M-47," many people probably imagine cargo pants or field jackets, but this is a rare piece, with very few available and rarely seen on the market.

The body uses a tough and sturdy plain-woven cotton canvas fabric, the same as the early M-47 models.

It features zippered slash pockets on the chest, pockets with pocket lining on both sides of the waist, and flap pockets at the feet that can be accessed even when sitting, making for a design with excellent storage capacity.

The front features a double-zip closure with a practical French-made brass "ELLESSE" zipper.

A drawcord is included inside the waist for cinching.

Adjuster belts by are attached to the cuffs and sleeves with French army aluminum buttons.
