1950s Schuco Piccolo Series Rabbit, Made in Germany, Antique

This is a rabbit from the 1950s Schuco Piccolo series.
It is believed to be one of the "Noah's Ark" series that was available at the time.

I previously welcomed it into my home directly from Germany.

It's about 9cm tall, fitting in the palm of your hand, but it has a metal frame, a characteristic of the Piccolo series, allowing the neck, arms, and legs to move freely.

It seems that the rabbit in this Piccolo series was produced in smaller numbers compared to the bears.
I believe it is a rare model, with limited opportunities to appear on the market nowadays.

Since I welcomed it, there were signs of wear and tear typical of antiques, such as the hair's set and thinning of the mohair (mohair loss), but I consider those as part of this piece's character that has aged over time.

In my home, I have kept it carefully in a curio case specifically for teddy bears, managing the humidity, etc.
I hope to pass it on to someone who appreciates the antique texture (age-related changes) and will cherish it.
