This set was purchased in person and comes preserved in its original government-issued booklet, confirming it as an authentic BEP collector souvenir and not a reproduction or novelty item.

The Series 1985 one-dollar bills were printed during a classic era of U.S. currency production, prior to the major security redesigns of the 1990s and 2000s. These notes retain the traditional green-and-black design, engraved portrait of George Washington, and older layout that many collectors prefer. Because many sheets from this period were cut and spent, intact uncut sheets from the 1980s are increasingly harder to find today.
