80s Levi's Elite Action Jeans with Embroidered Guide Lines Remaining

This is a rare piece of "Levi's Action Jeans – Elite specification," which was developed in the early 1980s as a work/action line by Levi's, made in Japan.

The left back pocket features a "guide print (drafting line)" used in the pre-embroidery process, instead of the usual Arcuate stitch (wave-shaped stitch). This detail, which is a factory-internal level detail, would never be distributed on mass production lines.

The buttons are stamped with "Elite" (OEM work line exclusive hardware), and the zipper is YKK. The red tab is a double-sided ® small e (specifications from around 1980-83). The sewing is presumed to be from the domestic license line (Marubeni/Toray OEM).

In the manufacturing history of Levi's, it is extremely rare for such pre-process specifications to be distributed in the market, and it is an "archive-class" piece with few confirmed examples among vintage collectors.
