Antique 1890 Jockey Hat Glass Ink Well-Silver Plate HorseShoe Pen Holder

This is an antique English silver plated ink well and pen stand, dating to circa 1890. The desk set is designed with an equestrian theme, featuring a large horseshoe pen rest. The set also features a cut-glass inkwell with a silver plated jockey hat lid. Unfortunately, one of the glass inkwells is missing, but does have the jockey hat. The glass on the ink well is in fair condition. The horseshoe pen rest can hold up to four pens, with the rests artfully crafted to look like horseshoe nails. The set rests on a mahogany base lined with felt on the bottom.
Note corrosion and tarnish due to almost 130 years old.
