Antique Aurora Silver Plate Bridal or Brides Basket Centerpiece c.1869-1919. Features ornate detailed repousse floral design handle, edge, legs and center of bowl. Aurora Silverplate Manufacturing Company was a producer of fine silver-plated dishes, ornaments, and tableware. Founded in 1869, this company was one of the city's most prosperous for more than 40 years. Stamped "Aurora Warranted 1869" and "1897". Very good condition with some scratching inside the bowl and small small amount of discoloration. Handle works great. No cracks, breaks, dents, or repairs. Measures 9" T with handle up. Basket 3" T x 9 1/2" Dia, 5 1/4" base/legs, 1 1/4" inside depth. Weight 1 lb. 5 oz.
