Antique Silver Plated Swing Handle Pedestal Basket – William Suckling & Sons (WS&S), Birmingham c.1920s–1930s – EPNS A1 A fine vintage silver plated pedestal basket with swing handle, made by William Suckling & Sons (WS&S), Birmingham, dating to around the 1920s–1930s. The dish features a classic pierced Greek key border and stands on a circular pedestal base. Marked underneath with the WS&S signpost trademark, EPNS A1 (best quality silver plate), and pattern number 2032. Measurements (approx.): Diameter (top): 25.5 cm Height (without handle): 8 cm Height (with handle raised): about 21 cm Base diameter: 10 cm Condition: Good vintage condition with some surface scratches and light signs of use consistent with age. The silver plate is still bright with a good shine. A stylish and functional piece of English silver plate, ideal for serving fruit, cakes, or as a decorative centrepiece.
