This is an early closed-mouth Kestner. According to the seller, it is an original body doll from the 1890s. Closed-mouth Kestner dolls with a composition body are quite rare. The head bears only the number 7 imprint. There are no cracks or hairlines. Without a wig, it measures between 41 and 42 cm. The wig shown in the first to third photos is for reference only. The items in the fifteenth photo are everything I will be passing on.
Everything that came with the doll upon arrival is included. The chemise and pantalettes that were originally included did not fit properly.
When I received it, the elastic was completely stretched out, causing the legs to be positioned at odd angles (as seen in the seventh photo), so I redid the elastic myself. Due to an unexpected increase in my doll collection, my time with this doll has been short, and I am looking for a new home for it.
