Thewalt 100 anniversary German beerstein. From 1893-1993. Only 2500 of these steins were made. The serial number is on the bottom of this stein. Unfortunately, Thewalt beerstein factory closed down in 2009, after producing steins for 116 years. All the steins on the market now are the remainder of their stock. No more Thewalt steins will be produced. The background of the Stein is cobalt blue and gray. The front shows the Tyrollean couple walking in a mountain meadow. The right and left side of this Stein shows Alpine chalets and a mountain lake. It is accented with 24 karat gold. It has a pewter lid. It measures 9 inches tall. The bottom measures 11 3/8 inches in diameter. It is 5 3/4 inches deep. The top opening measures 3 inches in diameter. It’s in perfect condition. No cracks no brakes. No scratches. It looks brand new. Very collectible.
