Beswick Pottery Beatrix Potter Old Mr. Benjamin Bunny Figurine

Originally approached by Beatrix Potter herself, John Beswick Pottery began producing figurines of her classic characters in 1940. Sculpted to be meticulously faithful to her illustrations, each was hand painted with details that brought the pages to life.
Old Mr. Benjamin Bunny, Peter’s uncle, appeared in The Tale of Benjamin Bunny. This rare first version pose, with pipe out, was modeled by Arthur Gredington and produced 1964-74. Approx. 4.25” tall. BP3A backstamp. No condition issues.
