Set of 4 Rare BM France Chamart/Limoges Paisley Porcelain 10" Dinner Plates. These vintage brand dinner plates feature a rare combination of golden Fall colors including orange, peach, brown, and yellow, complemented by a stunning paisley design.
“Chamart” is derived from the name of its founder, Charles Martine, a prominent figure in the gift and tabletop business in Limoges, France. Following the devastation of World War II, Martine was instrumental in importing French porcelains into the U.S., establishing the company in the early 1950s. Initially focusing on dinnerware and handpainted ceramics, the company later became famous for Limoges boxes.
The plates are in great condition. Two plates have minor rim chips; refer to the photos. There is no crazing or cracks. Dimensions: 10" diameter x 1/2" height. Total weight for the set: 4.8 lbs.
