This is a collection of works by Bridget Riley, titled "Bridget Riley."

Bridget Riley, a leading figure in Op Art, is a British artist known for her abstract paintings that use geometric patterns to create movement on the canvas.

Riley studied at Goldsmiths College and the Royal College of Art in London. After graduating, she continued her artistic activities while working as a teacher and in commercial art. Her early works were landscapes influenced by Georges Seurat, but she deepened her creative process by studying the masters of the Renaissance and Impressionist paintings, as well as pointillism, learning the process of simplification and abstraction.

This is a comprehensive collection that summarizes Riley's career, along with extensive text that analyzes her work from an art historical perspective, making it a very worthwhile read. The pastel-colored binding is also lovely, making it a great addition to your book collection.
