The rivets on the coin pocket opening and the bar tacks on the hip pockets, which were present on previous models, were omitted. "FOR THE DURATION" on the flasher means "for the duration of the war," indicating the specification changes due to material control until the end of the war. In the 1940s, the U.S. government presented an E-pennant, meaning "Excellent," to companies that produced excellent military supplies. Buzz Rickson's was a flight jacket contractor during the war and received the E-pennant, which is realized in the dream flasher. Detail details: Iron arabesque donut buttons. Rivets on the coin pocket are omitted due to wartime material control. The label shrinks dramatically when heated, so handle with care. Uses original selvedge denim.
The back yoke has a difference in height between the left and right sides, giving it a unique look. Olive herringbone twill is used. You can see the selvedge inside the pocket. The hidden rivets have a bar tack, but the main seam is a feature of the wartime model. Rough 13.6oz. original denim.
