This lens, launched during the film camera era, is a high-magnification standard zoom lens covering a wide-angle 28mm to a medium telephoto 135mm. It features image stabilization (IS) and a fast, quiet autofocus system using USM.
It can handle most shooting situations with just this one lens, making it a very convenient zoom lens for travel when you want to reduce luggage, or when you can't carry other interchangeable lenses.
I am selling it now to organize my belongings.
The exterior has some scratches, but no noticeable damage. The optics are free of mold and fogging, but there is some dust inside, which does not affect the image quality.
Zoom operation, autofocus, aperture, and image stabilization all function well. The 13th and 14th photos are sample images taken with this lens on a full-frame digital SLR.
It can be used with both full-frame and APS-C EOS bodies with EF mount.
Included accessories are the original hood (slightly scratched) and lens caps (F, R).
