All three posters are originally illustrated by Drew Struzan, arguably the best movie poster artist ever, certainly the most recognized and celebrated. The man has created the iconic poster images that are so realistic you could swear it’s a picture like Back to the Future, the Indiana Jones films, Coming to America, several Star Wars movies, The Shawshank Redemption, John Carpenter’s The Thing, and The Goonies. All three of the posters in this lot are also vintage Drew Struzan original one sheets from the theater that are all single/sided, 27x41”, and folded.
Born in East LA is in excellent unused condition. Great lifelike illustration of Cheech Marin.
California Suite is also in excellent unused condition. Check out the realistic facial features of Richard Pryor, Michael Caine, Jane Fonda, and Bill Cosby.
Police Academy is in poor to fair condition because of significant edge wear, including tiny missing pieces, but with the right frame, the rest of the poster looks perfect.
