Montblanc's Slimline fountain pen is a series characterized by its slim and lightweight design, manufactured from the 1970s to the 1980s. It is highly portable, mainly using resin and metal for the materials, and the nib is popular for its smooth writing feel.

This model was produced for a short period (approximately 4 years from 1976), and the entire body axis is coated with black rhodonite (rhodonite, also famous as a power stone), a high-end model designed entirely in black. The original selling price was in the same price range as the Meisterstück 146 (Le Grand), making it an expensive model.
On the other hand, it is stylish and slim, making it highly practical.
The rollerball pen can write clearly even with low pressure, making it less tiring to use.
