Excellent Condition Platinum 3776 Century Briar Fountain Pen, M (Medium) Nib

This is a rare, discontinued wooden-bodied fountain pen.

The pen is made of briar, a deciduous shrub of the heath family (Erica arborea) native to the Mediterranean coast. The burl, or gnarled root, of the plant, which has been aged for 25-100 years, is primarily used for materials like pipes.
The briar body is durable and hard. The comfortable feel and the luster that develops with use are also attractive features.

The nib width is medium.
I have confirmed that it writes without any problems.
The exterior has only minor scratches and is generally clean without any noticeable major damage.
