Montblanc's Slimline fountain pens are a series characterized by a slim and lightweight design, manufactured from the 1970s to the 1980s. They are highly portable, mainly using resin and metal for the materials, and the nibs are popular for their smooth writing feel.

This model was produced for a short period (about 4 years from 1976), and the entire body axis is coated with black rhodonite (rhodonite, also famous as a power stone), a high-end model designed entirely in black. The original selling price was in the same price range as the Meisterstück 146 (Le Grand), making it an expensive model.
On the other hand, it is stylish and slim, making it highly practical.
The nib is platinum-coated and engraved with 585 (14K), making it fashionable.
