Final home fw01 plaid waterproof fishtail parka

This Japanese parka is stunning from its s3xy long fishtail cut to its outrageously beautiful treated tartan skin this jacket is definitely one u won’t ever see again, designed in 2001 by Kosuke Tsumura who’s name you might not know but I can guarantee you will have felt his influence on fashion, Kosuke crated final home in 1994 and at the time it was destined to be a diffusion brand for the Japanese giants Issey Miyake but was deemed too different to the current issey market and was labelled as unworthy, final home was intended as a way to created survival gear for urban environments, from hyper practical jackets (like the one) to baby holders with air filter this brand was fashion and function rolled into one. This was tech-wear before tech-wear grope core before gortex function before fashion became fixated on waterproofs and zips. after inadvertently creating one of the largest fashion sub genres Kosuke Tsumura would go on to win the SO-EN design prize for context the previous winners are names like Yohji Yamamoto and Yusuke Takahashi. kosueke still designs to this day but imo nothing will top the original finale home days there was no narrative to fill it was just pure creation n I love that hopefully you do too :) - a few flaws but overall great condition for a 24 year old jacket, everything picture
