The performance by the second regular trio with Eddie Gomez (b) and Marty Morell (ds) is truly wonderful.
Although released after his death, the LP release at the time was only this French edition, making it a very rare gem.
Evans's greatest charm is the fusion of artistry and popularity in the best balance.
