"Raised By Wolves," a representative work by Jim Goldberg, is a grand narrative that collages ten years of photographs, text, film, and installations, depicting the lives of runaway teenagers in San Francisco and Los Angeles from the late 1980s to the early 1990s.
"Fingerprint" reproduces and includes unpublished Polaroids taken during this project. These Polaroids were used as drafts for later photographs and as gifts to the subjects themselves. Some of these photographs feature text declaring the identities, challenges, and resilience of the teenagers, while others capture the quiet realities of street life.
