This is a low-gauge turtleneck sweater from JOHN SMEDLEY.
Unlike high-gauge sweaters, it's thick and gives a relaxed impression.
The knit structure appears to be a honeycomb pattern.
I've only worn it once, and then my tastes changed, so I haven't worn it at all since. I've decided to sell it.
