PURCHASED IN AMISH COUNTRY! North Eastern Ohio has a large Amish population along with neighboring western Pennsylvania.
LARGE hand made tool box. I am not sure of the species of wood but it is a hard wood like oak. The top half opens as seen in pictures. The inside has two removable drawers. Each of the drawers has one separator. The inside of the door has some slats that look like they were made to hold hand saws.
The perfect amount of patina! Looks fantastic. The hinges do not match which may be original to the maker. THE BOX IS NICE AND STRONG STILL. The insides have no paint or major signs of use. The handle and latch are still nice and strong. SEE PICTURES.
LARGE BOX THAT WILL MAKE A STATEMENT WHEN DISPLAYED. 32 1/4" wide, 19 1/2" tall, and 7 1/2" deep. Shaped like a large suitcase.
It will be protected well and insured.
