These are special denim pants, an arrangement of Lee's timeless 101 model into PIERROT PANTS specifications.
PIERROT PANTS were used as clown costumes in 101 Riders advertisements and rodeo performances. Rather than being intended for actual wear, they were promotional items for Lee, also known as Rodeo Clown Pants. Originally designed to be worn oversized and suspended with suspenders, L'ECHOPPE has added waist adjusters to the suspender buttons, allowing for cinching.
You can wear them without a belt by tightening the waist, and of course, you can also use suspenders or a belt. At first glance, they may seem to have a lot going on, but once you put them on, you'll feel that it all makes sense.
