【What is 505-0217?】
It is the successor model to 551ZXX.
It was introduced in 1954 to solve the problems of the zip-type 501ZXX. The 501ZXX often caused the jeans to shrink when washed, and the zip-up would break.
Pre-shrunk denim was used for the first time, and it is characterized by less shrinkage and easy to maintain a good size.
The 551ZXX is a Levi's men's jeans released in the 1960s, the predecessor model of the 505.
It is a model that feels a lot of history, changed to 505 in 1967.
