In 1992, Irish Dresden, a maker of fine porcelain dolls, collaborated with Takara to create and sell porcelain Licca-chan dolls.
This is the "Irish Dresden Matching Licca-chan" doll, sold by Takara, wearing a dress of the same design as the porcelain Licca-chan.
I purchased this item new and unused from a vintage doll specialty shop and stored it in a cardboard box in a dark room.
I opened it for the first time to take photos for this listing. It is a new, unused item that has not been removed from its backing card.
