RARE 1980s Vintage Italian BMX Grips Plastiche Cassano 22mm Old School - Yellow

VERY RARE pair of vintage BMX grips, made in Italy by Plastiche Cassano. These are stamped “MADE IN ITALY – BREVETTATO – 22”, showing their authenticity and 22mm fit —————————————————— True Old-School 70s/80s BMX grips - not remakes. Genuine original survivors. Great used condition. But have been used and have slight signs of use - see images as they help make up the description - but nothing like you’d expect from being around 50 years old!!! Amazing find A true old-school accessory, these bright yellow grips were popular across late 70s and early 80s BMX builds, often seen on European and UK bikes as well as upgrades for GT, Mongoose, Raleigh Burner, Kuwahara, and similar models. Features: • Genuine Plastiche Cassano grips (Italian-made) • Stamped: MADE IN ITALY – BREVETTATO – 22 • Colour: Yellow (rare compared to common black) • Fit: 22mm internal diameter (standard BMX handlebar size) • Classic mushroom-style rubber with flanged end • Period correct for 1970s–1980s old school BMX restorations Condition: • Vintage used grips, still solid • Some light marks/age wear (see photos) • Bright yellow colour remains strong • No major cracks or splits – suitable for use or display These Italian BMX grips are getting harder to find, especially in survivor yellow.
