I bought a set of road bike cleats for a long trip. I had not practiced clipping and unclipping enough before I left for my long ride and fell several times. This is what scuffed up the toggles on the side of the shoes.
I switched to mountain bike cleats to continue my journey.
Including a new set of cleats so you can switch them out for the set currently on the shoe. Shoes will not come with insoles.
