Description
Vintage Roland SDE-2000 digital delay from the early 1980s.
Classic 12-bit Roland delay with analog companding and modulation — warm, gritty, and full of character. These are getting harder to find in working condition.
PLEASE READ – IMPORTANT CONDITION DETAILS
The unit does work, but it will need cleaning / minor servicing, which is normal for gear of this age.
Input Volume Knob (Important)
The input knob is intermittent
You may need to apply light pressure or jiggle the knob to get full input
Sometimes it works with no issues, other times the signal may cut out until adjusted
This is most likely dirty potentiometer / contact oxidation, not uncommon on vintage racks
Delay Time Down Button
The millisecond / tempo DOWN button sticks slightly
It still functions but does not spring back perfectly every time
