I am offering a piece of Salmon Falls Stoneware that is in excellent condition. I am not a collector and after a lot of research and information from collectors I have found that this is an early production by the founder Andy Cochran. It is not signed or dated which is typical with some of the earlier pieces. They referred to the blue cat decoration as the “Andy Cat”.
It is a bean pot and when I first saw it I thought it was a cookie jar. It is about 9” in height.
The company started business under the Salmon Falls Stoneware in 1986. The business is closing and no new items are being produced.
I am hoping it goes to the home of a collector who really appreciates these pieces.
