Septarian "Dragon" Egg with Black Druzy measuring 3.86" tall, 3.17" wide, 1.92" deep and weighs 1 lb 3.2 oz. Beautiful black druzy and an amazing UV reaction (see pics). Septarian is a must have for any crystal collection! I will include the stand.
Septarian is a sedimentary rock, often called "Dragon Stone," known for its unique, cracked appearance resembling a fossilized dragon egg or cracked mud, formed from mineral-rich mud hardening around decaying sea life, creating internal cavities filled with yellow calcite, brown aragonite, and grey limestone. These nodules feature a tough outer shell, sometimes with crystal-filled cracks. Main sources are in Madagascar and Utah.
