Side A is an homage to the hoodoo forefather of Funk, Professor Longhair, with their take on the Mardi Gras classic "Big Chief." The song starts out with the familiar groove of the original, but then morphs into a twangy, soulful tune that'll have you reaching for your longboard. If you listen closely, you'll spot a brief nod to the original king of Rock 'N' Roll himself, Fats Domino. The B-Side takes us back (waaay back!) to mid-19th century New Orleans, with a take on Louis Moreau Gottschalk's quintessential piece "Bamboula." Shark Attack!! brings the song to the 21st century with a high-energy whirlpool of interwoven guitar lines and crashing cymbals that crest with frightening bravado! This limited edition 45 comes on Aqua Blue vinyl and features label art designed by Roan Smith.
