This is a Sugar Cane zip fly model made in an American factory using deadstock 14oz. Cone Denim sourced in the USA. These jeans were developed for the Eastern market in America and feature a zip fly and "preshrunk denim" that has been pre-shrunk. The silhouette has a tapered line with a clean look below the knees, and the details are more fashion-oriented compared to workwear or Western wear. The zipper uses a 42TALON with cotton tape, allowing for aging and changes in appearance just like the denim. The fabric width is 28 inches, so the outseam uses selvedge, unlike most vintage jeans which use a lock stitch.
