These are 13.5oz authentic denim pants woven with 7-count warp threads and 6-count weft threads using an old G3 loom from Toyoda Automatic Loom Works.
By using gray weft threads that complement indigo, the deep indigo color on the surface creates a very rich hue.
The rough texture created by the power loom replicates the feel of fabrics produced in the old days.
The raw finish allows for fraying and twisting as you wear them.
The white selvedge adds to the unique deep indigo color.
Inspired by vintage work painter pants from store brands, these pants feature sturdy triple-stitch construction throughout.
The chain stitching uses different colored threads for the under thread, and the front uses a cam-lock Gripper Zipper.
All seams are sewn with cotton thread (catan thread). They have a wide thigh and hem width, and a deep rise.
They have a one-wash press finish.
