US Military Gas Mask Bag MARK 1

A 1940s ND series gas mask, issued to the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The Navy, which had not previously had its own gas masks, began with the Optical Gas Mask as dedicated equipment, and evolved through Mark 1 to Mark 5 over time.

This is the Mark 1 of that series.
The official name is USN U GAS MASK NDO MARK 1.
The main flap and both side flaps are fastened with buttons, and the inside has one partition and a belt to secure the anti-fogging canister.
It has a single-hook shoulder strap.
It has minor soiling commensurate with its age, and there is a small hole under the right side strap, but the printing is clear.
Mark 1 is an extremely rare item that is rarely seen, so this condition can be considered almost undamaged.
The metal fittings on the shoulder strap have no paint剥がれ (peeling).
Although many have inscriptions, this can be considered to be in excellent condition.
