Stacking mug cups made of melamine resin, adopted from the 1950s.
Lightweight, durable, and heat-resistant, it was a groundbreaking advanced material at the time.
Many designs could be stacked for storage, and character patterns and corporate campaign items were also popular for general consumers, but this is a U.S. marked military supply model.
Deadstock, new and unused, from the 1960s.
Halsey and KENRO are famous, but these 5 mugs are all marked MC.
There is no significant damage other than age-related deterioration.
Diameter: 8.7 cm, Height: 8.5 cm.
Tumbler-type mugs without handles and mug cups without date stamps are relatively common, but even unused mug cup types without military date stamps are traded for around 6,000 yen (excluding shipping).
In the past, a similar unused item from the Vietnam War era was sold for 9,800 yen (excluding shipping) in an auction.
It is extremely difficult to collect multiple new items from the same lot.
