M-1910 mess kit used by the U.S. military during World War I.
Thin lid.
Offset pull ring.
Cast iron straight handle and handle mount riveted on.
The markings on the tip of the handle are quite worn, but you can barely make out "U.S. LF&C. 1917" with the naked eye.
Many were changed to a deep-bottomed model from the 1918 model.
There are burn marks on the outer bottom, but no major scratches, dents, or distortions, and the lid can be removed and attached without any problems.
The handle lock is a little weak, but it still works.
Please understand that this item has undergone aging as it is over 100 years old.
Considering its age, I think it's in pretty good condition.
External dimensions: Approximately 23 x 17 x 4.5 cm
The thin type is quite difficult to obtain.
