Vintage 1920s dress, original 1920s

1920s dress made in black satin and silk velvet. The long velvet sleeves have covered buttons at each wrist and the satin bodice has covered buttons at the back of the neck. This is a nicely home made dress, The dress presents well but there are a couple of areas of weakness that you may wish to reinforce for longevity. At the back of the neck, two darts have seam stress. There is an area of stress/ weakness in the fabric next to the embroidery and held to the light I can see scattered thinned spots. There are a few wee pulls and normal wear as one would expec. Photos taken on a very tall 33-24-34 mannequin 14 inches shoulder seam to seam 18 inches around the armhole Fairly narrow on the lower arms, I have a 6 inch wrist and the fit is perfect 42 inch bust but you should be at least 6 inches smaller for the correct fit 43 inch hips, you must be smaller than this 42 inches shoulder to hem
