Vintage 1950s 1.5 lbs American Plastic Building Brick Block

Vintage 1950s ELGO American Plastic Bricks Building Blocks, approximately 1 & 1/2 lbs. These vintage building blocks are in very good condition for their age, though they may be dusty and need a wipe. Over 60 years old, these bricks come from a time when ELGO Plastics were popular in the '50s and '60s, before being overshadowed by Legos. This large mixed lot includes doors, windows, bricks, and clear roofs. The bricks vary in size (small and long) and come in red and white colors. While the exact number of pieces is not counted, the lot weighs nearly 1 & 1/2 lbs, estimated to be around 150 pieces, though there may be more. A few windows or doors may have cracks, but the bricks appear to be intact. This collection is ideal for adding to an existing set or for constructing small buildings.
