Vintage Art Deco sterling silver folding dance card case / aide-mémoire, dating to the 1920s–early 1930s.
This elegant geometric case opens to reveal an interior mirror, and two additional folding sections on the opposite side of the mirror, originally used to hold paper dance cards, notes, or small inserts (paper inserts no longer present, which is common).
Clearly stamped STERLING inside the frame. These pieces were fashionable accessories carried to dances and formal events, often worn on a finger chain or chatelaine.
