Crafted in traditional Yixing style zisha purple clay, the set shows a rich deep brown coloration with subtle purple undertones typical of this material. The teapot features subtle carved decoration, while the cups are smooth and undecorated for a balanced, traditional look.
The set includes the original patterned storage box and original paper insert describing zisha tea ware. The box shows water staining but remains sturdy and displays nicely. One tea cup has a small chip, which is shown clearly in photos.
