Stunning vintage fruit or centerpiece bowl (No. 17662) designed by Per Lutken for Holmegaard, Denmark, circa 1950s, hand-blown glass in medium blue with subtle violet tint. The circular body with rounded bottom subtly tapering to low ground foot, fire-polished rim, approx. 2-3/4" tall by 9-1/4" in diameter at the rim. Engraved "Holmegaard" with Per Lutken cipher and the number 17662. No cracks, chips, or haze.
A sleekly elegant, lesser-seen example from this foremost Scandinavian designer (19161998).
