Up for sale is a vintage Japanese brass enamel vase dating from the Showa period (mid-20th century, 1950s–1970s), a classic piece of Japanese cloisonne-style enamelware (Shippo-yaki) crafted for decorative and display purposes. This elegant vase features a traditional Chinese-inspired "gall bladder" shape (long neck, globular body, flared rim) with distinctive brass trim at the mouth and base, showcasing the fine metalworking of post-war Japanese crafts.

• Material & Craft: The vase is made with a solid brass body (with exposed brass edging at the rim and foot) and coated in a vibrant green marbled enamel glaze (also referred to as agate or flowing pattern glaze). This glaze effect is created by manipulating enamel during the high-temperature firing process, a signature technique of Japanese Shippo-yaki (cloisonne) without wire filigree (known as "plain ground" enamelware).

Dimension: 10 x 5 x 5 inches (25.5 x 12.5 x 12.5 cm)
