This is an incredible incredible piece.
It is older than 1955, every piece marked after has the small c in the circle.
When someone mentions vintage costume jewelry, probably what comes to mind for many of us are the fabulous rhinestone laden pieces of the 1950s. One of the foremost names in this classic jewelry style was Kramer.
The company was started in 1943 and their rhinestones were usually Austrian pieces of high quality.
They also designed jewelry for other companies, most notably !!Dior!! in the 1950s and 60s and Geoffrey Beene in the 1970s.
These rhinestones are soooo sparkly. I wish mercari allowed videos so you could see them shine and twinkle! Trust me, they’re lovely.
It measures about 15” with the clasp, fits more like a loose choker. No missing stones or wear issues. It’s in incredible shape.
