Vintage Lectronix Audio-Based Sound Only Home Security Alarm w/ Manual In Box.
Good used condition. Tested and working. This machine is built to look like a classic bookshelf speaker, but is made to be a covert alarm system. It listens to audio and once it reaches a certain db threshold (adjusted on the back) the alarm will start ringing quite loud. This system advertises does not alert anyone, including police, so it is branded as a crime deterrence system. This is in contrast to the connections on the back allowing this. These have not been tested, but I do not see a reason they would not work. While we don't have a method of seeing exactly how many decibels are setting the machine off, the adjustments seem to make sense for the range of volume that someone would be looking for in a system like this.
