Vintage Monsoon two piece, skirt and matching top. Size 12 (UK) Skirt is cut on the bias to give a flattering look. Purple almost navy in some lights, velvet made from silk and viscose edged with silk chiffon, mother of pearl buttons. The skirt has been altered from elastic waist to drawstring ribbon (see photo) as it kept of slipping down 🫣 It is much more comfortable to wear now 😃 The hem and top are edged with silk chiffon. The outfit could do with a light steaming as tiny areas of the velvet pile are flattened from being in the wardrobe next to other items. When I have steamed it before it has come back up beautifully. I have not steamed it now as it will get more crushed in the post. From smoke and pet free home.
