■Design
The 4th capsule collection in about two years, 〈BEAMS〉 injects its unique humor into the denim standards that 〈Levi's (R)〉 has built over its long history, and releases the "Super Wide V2 Collection," which reinterprets the silhouette.
The previous "Super Wide Collection," which received high praise from various quarters, paid homage to the masterpiece of 〈Levi's (R)〉 that appeared in the 1950s. This time, we rewind the clock even further, drawing inspiration from the archives of the 1940s, a turbulent era, and pursuing a new expression of denim while following the concept of a wide silhouette proposed by 〈BEAMS〉.

■Details
These jeans faithfully reproduce the details of the time, such as the hand-drawn style of the Arcuate stitch on the back pockets that symbolize 〈Levi's (R)〉, the olive herringbone pocket lining, and the plain donut buttons. The thickness of the fabric has been increased to enhance durability. In addition, the iconic patch name and the selvedge (commonly known as "red ear") stitching, which prevents fraying at the edges of the fabric, have been changed from the conventional red to orange, the corporate color of 〈BEAMS〉. The leather patch, which expresses the concept, incorporates an unprecedented bold idea of using two patches for one.
