Pieces like this Verde & Mela tweed coat came out of a wave of small Italian boutique labels from the late 90s into the early 2000s, when European makers were leaning into textured wool blends, playful colors, and feminine tailoring. This one really captures that era, the multicolor boucle-style weave, blue contrast buttons and zipper, and the little bow near the hem all fit the look that was trending in Italy at the time.
Even though it's tagged a 12, the fit is definitely closer to a modern small.
