This is a highly anticipated rookie who entered the professional ranks after achieving an amazing record of 17 wins and 1 loss, the best ever, in the Shogi Association's training program.
He's already racking up wins in his first year, and I think he'll be competing for a title soon.
He's known for his aggressive style of play, and his shikishi (autograph board) features the phrase "Shishi Funjin" (Lion's Rampage).
